Our growing company is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to assist senior management with internal and external reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate for this position can complete tasks autonomously and efficiently while having the capability to transform raw data into meaningful reports with recommended courses of action.
This individual can analyze business processes, understand the related underlying data and provide recommendations to improve the business operations.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
● Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
● Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment, shape analytical direction and provide recommendations to the business
● Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
● Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base
● Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for them to make more informed management decisions
● Reporting to financial and government agencies
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business Administration
● 3+ years in a data analyst type role with financial accounting experience
● Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is imperative
● Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
● Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
● Experience with ERP Software is considered an asset
● Experience with Power BI and/or creating dashboards is considered an asset
